PUNTA GORDA WATERFRONT HOME

We had a perfect day at this little cabin. It met all our needs, and we loved being there!! Positive: We love the setting by the river. It was so peaceful and scenic. The sunsets were beautiful. We love the screened in porch. There were five of us and it was just the right size. A comfortable living area a very well equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. There was a heater and air conditioning unit that was easy to use and very responsive. If it was getting hot, it quickly could cool down and vice versa. We also enjoyed the location It was very secluded, and yet we felt safe and it was super quiet and peaceful if we had a question, the host responded quickly. Negative: The hot water in the shower was a little tricky to adjust.

Quiet, secluded property less than 15 minutes from downtown Punta Gorda. Positive: A series of buildings along the Peace River. Most had two units; our building (#11) had one unit with 2 bedrooms. There were rowboats & kayaks available. Washers & dryers were available in a separate laundry room a short walk away. Airport, downtown and I 75 are easy drives away. Negative: Ours was rebuilt after the last hurricane. Unit was very clean and had new appliances/cabinets /furniture, but the workmanship, particularly in the kitchen was shoddy. We pointed this out to the manager and he explained that they just couldn’t get good help to rebuild & install stuff.

Awful. Don’t book with them. Negative: We did not stay here. When we arrived the listing and amount of beds advertised was not accurate. Terrible experience with the property manager that they say to reach out to if you have problems. He does not actually have any access to help. He said the owners were out of the country and not available either. Messages to owners are all auto generated. Still have not received any type of apology or refund.
